| ConeXL's
SmartSourcing©
methodology for remote outsourcing of Software Projects includes RFEye an automation tool to assist in creating RFI/RFP and to
evaluate service providers against the RFI.
RFEye
contains a predetermined set of questions that can be enhanced by an
Administrator. Weights can be assigned to items in the RFI. The
Administrator can set up a list of personnel responsible for evaluating the
RFI .
The Administrator can similarly establish and enhance the
criteria for site visit evaluation.
RFEyetakes input from all evaluators for all the
items in the RFI and creates a result set. It can include the results
of a the site visit and provide a final result for all vendors under
evaluation.

ConeXL
presents a set of test suites that mimic real life situations
to test the performance of Java Message Servers. ConeXL's Performance test
bench for popular Java Message brokers from Tibco, Talarian, Fiorano,
Spirit-Soft, SoftWired, BEA, IBM, SonicSoftware and Swift tests real life
messaging situations: . One to Many Pub/Sub
. Many to Many Pub/Sub
. One to Many Queuing
. Many to Many Queuing
. Latency
. Message Rules
. Varying Loads
. Durability
. Burst Messaging
. Flow Control
ConeXL continues to enhance this test suite and will add stress tests that
take the broker to limits for message, message sizes, connections, memory,
disk and see how each broker responds.

Sun
Microsystems has released a
Conformance Test suite that checks for conformance of Java Message brokers
to the API standard 1.0.2 Some vendors have validated their brokers against
this standard. Others have not.
ConeXL has released its own test suite to check compliance
to the JMS API 1.0.2 CTest++ contains approximately 900 test cases to test
each line of the API. See how
brokers respond to the tests and check:
. Failure due to bugs
. Features that are not
implemented
. Limitations in the
implementations
